The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame (OMHOF) will host a special celebratory concert to recognize the 2015 OMHOF inductees on March 14 at 8:00 p.m. at the Freeland Center for the Performing Arts in Bristow. The induction ceremony and concert will feature performances by many of the honored artists.
This year’s inductees for their contribution to music include singer/songwriter and recipient of the 2009 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Tom Paxton, bluegrass fiddler and Hee Haw star Jana Jae, influential Red Dirt pioneer Tom Skinner, the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma, and the first nationally recognized cowboy band to appear on The Billboard Music Charts, Otto Gray & his Oklahoma Cowboys (posthumous). The Governor’s Award will be posthumously presented to music videographer Sherman Halsey whose credits include Tim McGraw’s “Indian Outlaw,” Brooks and Dunn’s “Hard Workin’ Man” and Taylor Swift’s “Fearless.”
